Ignorance (2) – The Gentiles

The bible portrays the Gentiles – those outside of the Covenants – as living ‘in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Jews, Gentiles and Christians

In His Covenant with Abram, God made certain promises and commitments to Abram and his fleshly descendants through Isaac – descendants who became the ‘children of Israel’ or the Israelites. It was through the nation of Israel that God chose to reveal His purposes concerning restoration and deliverance. It was through Israel that the Deliverer would come.
